Design Challenges & Solutions
1. Enhancing Discoverability
Redesigned the app’s discovery features to ensure that users could easily explore personalized events and locations. I introduced a more intuitive layout with easy-to-access categories, making the process of finding new experiences seamless.
Additionally, I worked on simplifying the search and filter options to allow users to find exactly what they’re interested in, reducing friction and making the app more enjoyable to navigate.
2. Personalizing Recommendations
To keep users engaged, I focused on designing recommendation features that surfaced relevant events and venues based on users’ preferences and past activities. By collaborating with the data team, I integrated a recommendation engine that personalized content while maintaining a clean, user-friendly design.
This helped users feel a stronger connection to the app, as they received timely and tailored suggestions that aligned with their interests.
